Position Summary
The Quality Inspector ensures consistent product quality by inspecting incoming and outgoing materials maintaining compliance with AS9100D and Controlled Goods requirements and documenting inspection results. This role reports directly to the Director of Quality.

Key Responsibilities




  • Perform firstoff and inprocess inspections of manufactured products.
  • Communicate required adjustments to Production and the Quality Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
  • Assist with packaging and part marking in accordance with AS9100D standards.
  • Verify and generate documentation for outside processing ensuring compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
  • Inspect and validate documentation and product received from outside processors.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications




  • 12 years of experience as a Quality Inspector.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools (meters gauges calipers).
  • Strong numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment (heat noise etc.).
  • General knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Reliable transportation for rotating Day Afternoon and Night shifts (10hour shifts monthly rotation).
  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong teamoriented mindset and a positive allin attitude.

Other Requirements (NonNegotiable)




  • Ability to work rotating shifts (Days Afternoons Midnights) with availability for overtime. No weekends or holidays. Shift premiums apply.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check and Controlled Goods Clearance upon hire.
