Job Summary
Mission of the Role
***This position is for an existing vacancy. The ideal candidate will work in our SICK Richmond Hill Ontario office four days a week. And may work remotely the other day.
This Sales Cluster position is responsible for ensuring and continuously improving quality in all cluster relevant processes to ensure customer satisfaction compliance and efficiency. This position has responsibility for leading the development and delivery of the SICK Integrated Management System (SIMS) standards to meet customer requirements and to strive to exceed customer addition the role is responsible for safety program development implementation maintenance and policy compliance particularly related to our SICK Ltd. Office in Richmond Hill Ontario Canada while collaborating with those responsible for the same at SICK Bloomington Minnesota USA. The role requires active engagement with the entire business to promote a culture of quality and safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execution of regular process reviews for continuous process improvements throughout the Cluster
- Active part in internal external audits as well as customer audits for the entire SSC e.g. as auditor observer or participant Support for the organization in pre-audit phase and coordinator of the measures identified.
- Responsible for Q-reporting the derivation of measures from it and their implementation in cooperation with central departments if necessary. Reporting topics: customer satisfaction complaints performance evaluation by customers customer inquiries including technical support repair and replacement service delivery performance Process KPIs reporting audit management etc.
- Responsible for compliance and improvement of Q-processes (Audit management Management Review Control of documented Information Customer Complaint Management Performance Evaluation by Customer).
- Supporting role in customer communication for major customer complaints.
- Responsible for Customer Experience management (proactive customer satisfaction analysis) deriving measures and coordination of local implementation together with department managers and if relevant with stakeholders from Enabling- Sales & Service- or Business Cluster.
- Active driver for process harmonization monitoring process effectiveness. Holistic collection of process requirements in close cooperation with Business Framework Ambassadors Operational Process Managers and Strategic Process Manager.
- Close cooperation and support for the Owner of the cluster quality team who is responsible for strategic orientation and its implementation
- Cultivation of a Quality Mindset in the Cluster through training audits etc.
- Key user and trainer for Quality tool set: Smart Process and Smart Audit
- Local project manager for SICK Integration Management System (SIMS) projects within responsible cluster
- Responsible for ensuring the local implementation monitoring and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
- Identifying health and safety issues and bringing them to the managements attention.
- Act as a representative of the Joint Health & Safety Committee making recommendations to the management team to improve workplace safety
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 5 Years in sales operations process improvement or quality management. With a proven track record in sales process optimization and performance monitoring. Experience with CRM Systems (Ex: Salesforce Microsoft Dynamics) and data analytical tools.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business administration Sales Marketing Quality Management or related field. (Masters degree is a plus.)
- Position-specific Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Lean Management Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is a plus
- WSIB (Workplace Safety & Insurance Board) Aligned JHSC (Joint Health and Safety Committee) Certified a plus.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) a plus.
- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and process mapping.
- Proficiency in data analysis KPI tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with relevant compliance standards.
- Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions within the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Computer/Technological:
- Professional competence in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with CRM Systems (Salesforce MS Dynamics) and/or other data analytical tools.
- Language: Professional written and spoken fluency in English (French a plus).
- Schedule: Generally Monday to Friday some weekends (if required).
- General Working Conditions: Corporate office environment.
- Travel: May require some travel to the US for training and meetings.
- Physical Demands: General office environment space and exposure. Computer monitor more than 4 hours a day.

Compensation
The base salary is one part of our Total Rewards package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below; the actual starting salary will be based on a variety of factors including experience skill set education performance licenses/certifications business needs and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
- Starting Base Annual Salary Range: $74180 - $112200
