About the Opportunity:
Our client a respected Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Supervisor to lead and develop a team of adjusters handling New York claims. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can drive claim performance ensure regulatory compliance and foster a high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

• Active New York Adjusters License (Required)
• 5 years of experience handling New York Workers Compensation claims
• 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of New York jurisdiction statutes and regulatory requirements
• Experience working within a TPA or insurance carrier environment
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a high-volume environment
• Excellent leadership organizational and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise mentor and develop a team of Workers Compensation Claims Adjusters handling New York claims
• Monitor claim files for quality accuracy and compliance with New York Workers Compensation laws and regulations
• Conduct regular file reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve performance
• Assist adjusters with complex litigated and high-exposure claims
• Ensure timely reserving proper claim investigation and strategic resolution of claims
• Collaborate with clients attorneys and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
• Track and report on key performance metrics (closure rates lag time reserve accuracy etc.)
• Support training initiatives and onboarding of new team members
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal best practices
