Purpose and Objective:
SAP America aServices Architecture Expertat ourPlano TXlocationtoact as a Customer Advisor on IT-Services byprovidingholistic advice and guidance focusing either on an application/solution an industry or technology.
Expectations and Tasks:
Assess the as-is situation as well as the business goals of the customer and provide a structured path towards an integrated IT-Landscape as well as the relevant operational approachrequiredfor the implementation. Validate andoptimizethe approach formaximumcustomer success. Translate the desired IT end-state scenario of the customer into actionable project steps for theimplementationwork. Maintain key relationships with Business Leaders (including but not limited to Chief Information Officer) in the customerin order tojointly design the IT end-state and required Services / Solutions to be implemented. Coordinate with the different Services roles within the company including Consultants and Project Managers as well as Development and Sales organization whereappropriatethe delivery of the resources to implement the customersroad-maps. Clarify existing expectations from various stakeholders with the customer especially invery difficultcases; creates a path to solution which integrates diverse points ofviewsand whichserves as a starting point for future business. Collaborate withcustomerand SAP team for the best possible implementation. Drive knowledge management and innovation activities based on this experience with customers. Document successful approaches and tools and make them available to colleagues at SAP. Collaborate and co-innovate with the respective development teams.
Education andOccupational Experience:
Bachelorsdegree or foreign equivalent inComputer Science Engineering Project or Business Managementor a related field of studyandseven (7)years ofprogressive post-baccalaureateexperience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively aMastersdegree or foreign equivalent inComputer Science Engineering Project or Business Managementor a related field of studyandfive (5)years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and CompetenciesExperience:
Experience mustincludefive (5)years involving each ofthe following:
Delivering enterprise business transformation projects and aligning customer priorities with target architecture and roadmap;
SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star);
Business Technology Platform components including application development automation data and analytics integration and AI and practical experience with S/4HANA applications; and
Customer communication influencing and negotiation skills at senior management and C-levels both within an IT team and across business functions.
Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following:
Cloud and Clean Core Strategy familiarity with SAPLeanIXSignavio and Cloud ALM; and
SAPs Business AI roadmap including identifying use cases and piloting AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
Travel:Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various unanticipated client sites to provide strategic Enterprise Architecture advisory and implement procured solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annualbase salary range for this position is$141336- $206640.SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towarddemonstratingSAPs commitment to pay equity. SAPprovidesthe annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is$151900- $258300. The actualamount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. asdeterminedthrough the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollaramountand any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
