Location: Melrose Park IL Manufacturing Direct Hire Full-Time

The ACE Consulting Group is partnering with one of our valued clients in the manufacturing industry to hire an experienced Controller for their Melrose Park Illinois facility. This Controller role will oversee accounting operations financial reporting and cost accounting processes for a growing manufacturing organization with approximately $50M in annual revenue and around 100 employees.

The Controller will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy supporting leadership with financial insights and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal Controller will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting cost accounting and inventory management within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger financial reporting and month-end close
• Manage cost accounting processes related to manufacturing operations and production costs
• Maintain accurate inventory accounting and support inventory controls and reconciliation processes
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for leadership
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support operational and strategic decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards internal controls and company financial policies
• Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities
• Work closely with operations leadership to monitor cost structures and profitability
• Coordinate with external auditors tax advisors and financial partners as needed

What You Bring as the Controller:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership role
• Previous experience in manufacturing accounting environments
• Strong experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting
• Understanding of financial reporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to partner with leadership and support operational decision-making
• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time Direct Hire role Monday Friday
• Salary Range: $80000 $100000 annually depending on experience
