Pathways Inc. is looking for compassionate people to fill direct service positions (full time and part time all shifts) at our mental health program Lake Breeze Community Residence for Children and Youth located in Canandaigua NY.

Nature of Work:
A Counselor is a compassionate and patient entry-level direct-care human services professional who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be responsible for providing instruction and support to children and youth diagnosed with serious emotional disturbance using strengths-based and trauma-informed practices with the goal of improving functioning and overall quality of life. As a Counselor you will be an integral member of the team providing daily documentation and feedback regarding youth progress and needs. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a human services related field is strongly preferred; a high school diploma with related experience may be considered.
• Requires a valid drivers license that meets insurability guidelines to operate Agency-owned vehicles.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care Day Care and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding a history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
