Package range: $111798 - $132585. Package includes salary ($98499-$116813 per annum paid pro-rata) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

Were seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Automotive Light Vehicle students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities at Bathurst Campus:

  • 1 x permanent full-time role
  • 1 x permanent part-time role (14 hours per week)

There may also be opportunity to work across our other campus locations such as Cowra Forbes Mudgee and Orange Campuses.

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle or equivalent.
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week Paid to Learn course.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry gained no longer than five (5) years previously.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.

Applicants for part-time positions should note that participation in the 14week PTL program requires full-time attendance of 35 hours per week throughout the 14 week program.
