ProjectCoordinatorsexecutealllanguage/translationprojectsfromthestarttothefinishandserveasasinglepointofaccountabilityfortheirsuccessfulcompletion.
IndividualsinthisrolearemoreinclinedtostickinaProjectManagement - orientedcareerpath(workingtobecomeanExecutiveorSeniorProjectManagerTeamLeadorDepartmentManager).
Responsibilities:
Beresponsiblefortheentirelife-cycleofallprojectsassignedtotheindividual
Jugglemultipleprojectsandprioritiessimultaneouslyinafast-pacedenvironment
Understandandabidebyindividualprojectinstructions
Liaisewithsalesstafftoclarifyprojectparameters
Establishandmaintainexcellentrelationshipswithcontracttranslatorsandproofreadersglobally
Negotiatewithvendors
Coordinatewithqualitypersonneltoensurethatthetranslationperfectlycomplieswithinstructionsandislinguisticallyperfect
Communicateanyissues/problemsthatarise
Distributeinformationtosalesstaffinatimelymanner
