Job Summary

The Engineering Coordinator supports the Engineering Department by managing administrative tasks coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring smooth communication between departments to maintain the resorts facilities and infrastructure.
Coordination & Administration

  • Receive and log maintenance requests (guest rooms villas public areas)
  • Assign work orders to technicians and follow up on completion
  • Maintain records of daily maintenance activities
  • Updating the payroll attendance and coordination with People & Culture Department

Documentation & Reporting

  • Update and manage:
    • Work order systems
    • Preventive maintenance schedules
    • Equipment logs and service records
  • Prepare daily weekly and monthly reports for the Chief Engineer

Inventory & Purchasing

  • Monitor stock levels of spare parts and materials
  • Coordinate purchase requests and track deliveries
  • Maintain inventory records for engineering supplies

Communication

  • Act as a link between engineering housekeeping front office and management
  • Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues quickly

Maintenance Support

  • Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules
  • Track ongoing repair projects
  • Ensure timely completion of engineering tasks

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and resort policies
  • Maintain records related to inspections and certifications
  • Support emergency response coordination

 


Qualifications :

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering / Facilities Management (preferred)
  • 13 years experience in:
    • Hotel engineering OR
    • Facilities maintenance OR
    • Administrative coordination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized self-motivated and able to multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with resort operations and Engineering terminology is an advantage.
