Job Summary
STATUS: Part-Time Contractor
CLASSIFICATION: Hairdressing - Chair Rental
WORK AREA: Providence Living at The Views
HOURS: Set your own hours; Monday-Sunday 8am-6pm approximately 20-25 hours per week
EFFECTIVE DATE: TBD
SALARY: $17.85 - $38.70 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide professional hair styling and cutting services to residents living in care
Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences
Perform hair colour treatments highlights and other chemical services
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Scheduling appointments in collaboration with care team
Provide own supplies
SKILLS:
Valid cosmetology license
Proven experience as a hair stylist or in a similar role
Desire to work with older adults and those living in care
Excellent knowledge of hair care products treatments and techniques
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling
