Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time temporary summer position within the Marketing and Communications team supporting a mission-driven organization serving diverse communities across multiple program areas. Reporting to the Director Marketing and Communications the role provides hands-on exposure to marketing communications and administrative functions while contributing to the delivery of organizational campaigns and initiatives.

  • Support the planning and execution of marketing and communications initiatives and campaigns.
  • Assist with creating editing and scheduling content for social media eânewsletters and other digital communications.
  • Respond to customer inquiries received through digital communication channels.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Prepare and update correspondence reports drafts and marketing materials.
  • Assist with coordinating marketing tasks and projects using digital project management tools.
  • Support recognition and stewardship activities including drafting thank-you letters and post-event reports.
  • Assist with assembling and delivering recognition materials for sponsors and supporters.
  • Contribute ideas and support the development of new marketing concepts and approaches.

Wed love to hear from people with:

  • Postâsecondary coursework or education in marketing communications business media public relations or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience or a strong interest in graphic design and/or digital marketing including Meta ads and Google ads.
  • Training or certificates related to marketing communications digital media social media management or Microsoft Office applications are considered an asset.
  • Eligibility that meets the Canada Summer Job Program requirements
