We are seeking a Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment and brings both culinary talent and operational discipline to the table. This role is ideal for a chef who leads by example values teamwork and takes pride in delivering exceptional food at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Executive Chef to execute menus with consistency creativity and efficiency
Lead daily kitchen operations including production planning prep oversight and event execution
Supervise and guide kitchen staff during production days tastings and on-site events
Oversee corporate drop-off catering production ensuring accuracy timing and presentation standards
Uphold all food quality sanitation and safety standards across production and service
Assist with ordering inventory management and vendor coordination
Train mentor and support kitchen team members fostering accountability and professional growth
Step seamlessly into service and production needs; this is a hands-on leadership role
Qualifications & Experience
2- 4 years of experience in a high-volume professional kitchen; catering or events experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple timelines while maintaining composure and attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead calmly under pressure
Passion for seasonal thoughtful and well-executed food
Flexibility to work early mornings evenings and weekends as dictated by event schedules
Valid drivers license (multiple venues supported)
Comfortable using kitchen-related technology and basic computer systems
