BGIS Integrated Technical Services (ITS) is hiring a skilled Commercial HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician in Portland OR for a diverse inclusive team. Earn $25$38/hr. and customize your career with our $3500 Tech Flex Program choose a cash bonus advanced training or extra paid time off.

- Pay: $25$38/hr. ($52000$79040/annually based off a 40 Hr. work week) + Overtime when authorized by Leadership
- On-Call Pay: $150 per scheduled on-call shift

What Youll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems (air handlers boilers chillers cooling towers).
- Perform inspections cleaning lubrication and minor repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service and accurate record-keeping.
- Use company tools: service van iPad iPhone.
What You Need
- US work authorization required (citizen or permanent resident)
- 25 years commercial HVAC experience
- EPA Certification
- Personal hand tools drills and Sawzall for fieldwork
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
- Valid drivers license (background/drug checks required)
- Secure parking for company vehicle required no HOA restrictions.

The Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) Employment Standards Program is conducting rulemaking to implement changes passed last year to the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act.
The new laws update the acts wage and salary disclosure requirements. They also establish guidelines for when an employer can require a valid drivers license as a condition of employment or include a statement in a job posting that an applicant must have a valid drivers license.
The amendments were included in Substitute Senate Bill 5408 and Substitute Senate Bill 5501 during the 2025 legislative session.
As a result the Employment Standards Program is defining terms and requirements and clarifying applicability enforcement and penalties through the rulemaking process to reflect statutory changes.
The program filed the CR-101 preproposal for rulemaking on Aug. 5 2025 and anticipates filing the CR-103 for adoption on April 21 2026. The effective date of the laws was July 27 2025.
