DescriptionGriffith Centers is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Manager to lead client billing and payment processes ensure timely revenue collection resolve claim issues and support efficient compliant revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities:
- Collect copays deductibles and outstanding balances from clients at the time of service or through follow-up communication.
- Apply insurance payments and denial codes accurately within the EHR system to ensure proper claim tracking and secondary insurance billing when applicable.

- Review client accounts regularly for unpaid balances missing payments or outstanding insurance claims.
- Communicate with providers supervisors and billing leadership when client accounts require additional attention or intervention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- A Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare medical or behavioral health billing or in revenue cycle management required.
- Proven experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems billing platforms and payer portals required.
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes including claim submission denial management coordination of benefits and secondary billing.
- Familiarity with Medicaid commercial insurance and behavioral health billing practices preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when processing payments applying insurance remittances and reviewing client accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effectively working with clients providers supervisors and finance staff.
- Ability to analyze account issues identify billing discrepancies and resolve payment or claim problems efficiently.
- Ability to maintain healthy emotional and professional boundaries in client and staff interactions.
- Ability to work with sensitivity to the cultural and/or socioeconomic diversity of the agencys clients and staff.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting financial and health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Valid drivers license and insurance with the ability to travel on behalf of the organization.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for childcare facilities. This screening includes initial and ongoing state criminal background checks fingerprinting sex offender registry searches and abuse and neglect clearances.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
