The Role:
Our site in Colorado Springs CO is seeking a SeniorNew Product Introduction(NPI)Engineer Membrane Engineeringto join our team.Oursite manufacturesLiquidMicroContamination Control (LMC) membrane products such as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UPE) membrane and other membrane products for Semi-conductor and Life Science industries.You willjoin ourteamto start up a new membrane operations plant.As part of this effort you will drive the commissioning and qualifying of both processes and equipment for use in high volume production.Once product qualification and operation readiness for Rockrimmon UPE is achieved your primary responsibility will be to drive the successful scaleup of products/processes from Development to Manufacturingutilizinga Stage gate Process and/orproduct transfer from one site to another

Work with an existingcross-functionalteam includingOperationsMembrane R&DQualityEquipment &Automation Facilities EH&S andProjectManagement to make our new plant a success.
Successful Validation and Qualification (V&Q) execution ofmembrane products
Lead efforts to guide theinstallationand commissioning of new production scale equipment following typical IQ/OQ protocols.
Develop and qualify membrane processes on new equipment to meet Key Performance Output Variables (KPOV) targets.
Design and executeexperimentsutilizestatistical tools to analyze experimental data to drive development andoptimizeprocesses.
Driveoperationreadiness of a new membrane manufacturing line.
Develop and drivenew solutionsto existing membranemanufacturing challenges such as improving yield increasingcapacityand minimizing variation.
Be aProject/Technical Leaderfor assigned project and develop projectplanworkclosely withmulticultural cross functionalteamand build consensus to drive projects to completionin a timely manner.
Provide documentation support such as creating/maintainingdrawings SOPs testproceduresandtest data.Prepare Process Documentation to support Product Launchand orManufacturing.
Maintain presence in the manufacturing area to provide sustaining manufacturing support. Resolveday-to-dayproduction/process issues. Drive issues to root cause
Responsiblefor guidingtechnical evaluations analysis and implement process solutions to complex problems enhancing our fully data-driven and risk-based thinking culture
Lead with influence across multi-disciplinary team
Can take on assignments with broadobjectiveswhere guidance is provided on critical issues only
The NPI Engineer will work closely with theR&Dteam todrive and execute improvements/solutions to help the team meet the product design and manufacturing requirements and stage gate commitments while keeping focus on safety and quality.
The NPI Engineer will also work directly with the Production/Operations cell team to ensuremanufacturingreadiness of the new product portfolio. You will engage with the Manufacturing Engineers Supervisors and Technicians to drive the successful transition of products from early development to product release.
Managemultiple projects across the product portfolio.
Manage Projects via the Accolade project application and drive others to complete tasks as.
Interface with global internal customers and sister facilities to align requirements resolve issues and ensure readiness for productlaunch
Manage customers or internal samples for Product Qualification builds.
Assistswith analyses andauditsprocesses to make recommendations on such items as safety quality cost waste reductions and efficiency.
Assistin directing and controlling processesin accordance withdefined policies and procedures.
Requirement to provide work guidance and mentorship to Engineers and others
Individualwillbe requiredto spendfewweeks at Bedford MA site asa partofonboardingprocess to gain process knowledge to be successful in this role fornewColorado Springs Manufacturing facility.
What We Seek:
B.S or M.S. in Chemical/Materials/Mechanical engineering or related technical discipline
Experience in membrane manufacturing polymer twin-screw extrusion web handling or thin film processing or non-woven manufacturing processes
Six sigma certifications andexperience in statistical data analysis with MINITAB or other statistical software and capable ofutilizingdata for informed engineering-related decision-making.
Minimum of6 - 10years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a significant amount of that time successfully leading processes and / or continuous improvement related initiatives.
Must have both strong hands-on experience and analytical problem-solving skills
Proven Project Management skills and experience
Experience using IQ/ OQ/ PQ protocols
Experience in lean manufacturing.
Ability to adaptto changingresponsibilities quickly based on business needs
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a strong contributor to a cross-functional development team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must have some flexibility inthe workschedule duringinitialstart-up to meet the demands ofthe projectschedule.Afterplantstart-up is completeI expecta scheduleto return to normal business hours.
Demonstratedproficiencyin Statistical Process Control Failure Mode and Effects Analysis Validation & Qualification processes

Compensation: $115000-$125000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
