AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Water Resources in Novi MI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and design water resources projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic modeling floodplain mapping stormwater modeling flood control dam safety dam removal stream restoration and transportation-related drainage design
• Provide engineering review of stormwater and erosion control plans
• Develop scopes of work and budgets/proposals for water resources projects or for water resources components of larger projects
• Prepare permit applications and pursue approval
• Develop and formulate cost effective technical solutions to client problems on assigned projects
• Prepare construction plans specifications construction cost estimates correspondence and reports
• Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards
• Mentor train and grow the engineering team
• Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week
• Supervises two (2) Civil Engineers

Qualifications :

Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Hydrosystems Engineering Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Water Resources Engineer Drainage Engineer or related occupation. 

Alternatively the employer will accept a Masters degree in Hydrosystems Engineering Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field of study with 3 years of experience.

The position requires experience in the following:

1. HEC RAS;
2. HEC HMS;
3. XPSWMM;
4. PCSWMM;
5. FLOWMASTER;
6. HYDROCAD;
7. MS Excel including data entry and organization arithmetic operations charts and budgeting and forecasting;
8. Civil3D;
9. StormCAD; and
10. Microstation
