Discipline Librarian

As a Discipline Librarian L&T you willlead outreach and support principally the Arts Education and Law (AEL) academic group. As a member of the Learning and Teaching Team you will work closely with your colleagues and other teams across the Library to deliver high quality academic information and digital skills support for students and willcollaborate closely with a committed team ofLibrarians Learning Advisers and Digital Capability Advisersto enhance students academicsuccess.  

Based within the Academic Engagement Services (AES) team this team supportsstudents with academic skillsdevelopmentthroughworkshops consultations eLearning resources and otherlearning and teachingservices.  

About you 

• Adegree in librarianship orsignificant progresstowards a degreeor an equivalent combination of relevant knowledgetrainingand/or experience. 
• Eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information association. 
• Demonstrated experience designing developing and delivering highquality learning and teaching support for students and researchers through group instruction one to one consultations online delivery and eLearning materials.
• Excellent communication teamwork and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work collaboratively with academic staff and professional colleagues to embed and enhance library learning teaching and researcher services. 
• Ability to provide professional disciplinespecific guidance including contributing to collection development supporting emerging technologies and delivering consistent services across physical and virtual environments. 
• Well organised and adaptable with experience contributing to or leading projects engagement planning and continuous improvement activities and a strong commitment to inclusive practice and highquality service delivery. 
• Experience working in an academic Library and knowledge of humanities arts education and law will be highly regarded

This is a continuing full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

HEW level 7 salary range $104504  $113219 pa 17% superannuation.
