About the role
We are looking for caring and reliable Aged Care Support Workers to support older people living independently in their own homes.
In this role you will help clients with everyday tasks personal care and social support allowing them to stay safe comfortable and connected in their community. Shifts are available during weekdays based on client needs.
Duties will include:
- Providing personal care such as showering grooming and hygiene.
- Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.
- Supporting clients with shopping appointments and social outings.
- Observing and reporting changes in a clients wellbeing.
- Following individual care plans and completing basic documentation.
- Travelling between client homes within your local area including Hurstville Miranda Bayside Mortdale Riverwood Illawong.
Skills and Requirements
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.
- Certificate III IV or Diploma in Aged Care Home Care Disability (desirable).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Clear communication skills and a friendly respectful approach.
- Reliable punctual and committed to quality care.
- Flexible availability to meet client needs.
- Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately.
- Experience with mobility aids or hoists (desirable).
- Ability to communicate in Russian and English is highly regarded.
