Staff Web Engineer Full Stack

The Staff Web Engineer Full Stack (Frontend Heavy) will play a key role in building scalable consumer-facing web applications within the Marketplace domain in Experian Consumer Services. This role focuses on strong frontend development while having a good understanding of backend (Java) systems to contribute to end-to-end solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and test key programs within Marketplace Engineering
• Build clean intuitive and responsive user interfaces that represent Experian to its consumers
• Develop technical solutions with a strong focus on quality scalability and performance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders product management and PMO on product roadmaps and quarterly planning
• Participate in code and design reviews to identify issues early and reduce rework
• Ensure stable production operations with a focus on uptime performance and reliability
• Work effectively as part of a global engineering team ensuring strong collaboration communication and timely delivery

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or equivalent practical experience
• 8 to 11 years of UI engineering experience using JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and TypeScript
• Strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
• Experience building modern frontend architectures including ServerDriven UI (SDUI) GraphQL and Micro Frontends (MFE)
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles responsive design and crossbrowser compatibility
• Experience with unit and endtoend testing frameworks (Jest Karma Jasmine Playwright etc.)
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques and best practices
• Good understanding of Java Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and backend integration patterns
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and distributed systems concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools version control systems (Git) and build tools
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles design patterns and best practices
