Fleet and Compliance Coordinator
Job Summary
We are now looking to recruit a Fleet and Compliance Coordinator for our site in Rugby. You will be a key member of the team ensuring an efficient service level is maintained in line with the customers expectations. You will ensure that practices are carried out in order to ensure full Legality and Compliance is adhered to and maintained onsite.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday days 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: 31000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring that all vehicles and trailers adhere to service and MOT planned schedules.
- Complete daily trailer tracking as part of a wider network of trailers and assisting in the repatriation of trailers where necessary
- Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts to facilitate trailer return for service and MOT.
- Provide daily/weekly reports relating to compliance status of the companys fleet
- Working closely with site operations team and local manufacturer/service providers to monitor review and improve vehicle damage costs.
- Co-ordination of Fleet moves.
- Review PMI reports received from vehicle service agents and address any safety related defects that should have been captured as part of driver pre ops checks.
- De-brief drivers on infringements and provides guidance and advice on Drivers Hours and WTD.
- Support the Transport Manager in ensuring a green annual compliance audit result is achieved.
- Support other team members when required assisting with any activities which are within the wider teams remit.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a similar role within a transport/logistics environment.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving analytical and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages and other transport software (Microlise Enterprise/GTS)
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve targets.
- Thorough understanding of commercial vehicle and ancillary equipment compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of the sector and relevant operational practices.
- CPC is highly desirable.
