Procurement Manager
Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the organizations purchasing activities ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and timely delivery. The role involves vendor management contract negotiation and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods materials and services
- Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure performance standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast procurement needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies legal regulations and ethical standards
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets and cost control measures
- Review and approve purchase orders and contracts
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management (58 years preferred)
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of procurement software & systems
Candidates having international experience will be preferred.
