Job Summary

We are seeking an OT Security Operations Analyst to support and strengthen security operations across our operational technology (OT) environments. This role is critical in identifying analysing and responding to potential cyber threats and incidents that could impact industrial systems critical infrastructure and operational continuity.

This position will see you become part of a highly specialised cyber security team you will play a key role in safeguarding OT systems and data ensuring the resilience availability and security of environments that underpin essential business and operational functions.

Core Responsibilities (amongst others):   

  • Monitor and analyse security events and incidents related to operational technology (OT) systems
  • Investigate and respond to security breaches in OT environments
  • Prepare and plan regular security assessments and vulnerability scans for OT systems
  • Collaborate with OT and IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
  • Facilitate technical support during security incident response
  • Maintain incident response plans and procedures for OT security incidents

Qualifications :

  • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in computer science business informatics engineering/technology or equivalent  
  • Professional certifications and experience in Information Security from industry standard security frameworks
  • Experience of operating key operational technologies and suppliers in security operations.  Examples:  Claroty CrowdStrike Qualys Zscaler SIEM Microsoft Azure Office 365 admin Google Chronicle Service Now.
  • Familiarity with the ISA95/98 and Purdue models for industrial IT and the typical operating practices in that engineering environment.
  • Understanding of network protocols architectures and components
  • Familiarity with firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and network monitoring tools
  • Ability to configure and manage network security devices
  • Proficiency in securing various operating systems including Windows Linux and macOS
  • Knowledge of system hardening techniques patch management and access controls
  • Ability to monitor and analyse threat intelligence sources to identify potential risks
  • Understanding of threat actors attack vectors and emerging cyber threats
