Strategic Sales Manager

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sales theStrategic SalesManagerwillberesponsible formanagingSharkNinjasportfoliolaunchesand promotional strategy within the Canadian SalesManageris at the center of trade marketing field sales and product development andisthe voice of what is best for theCanadianmarket to scale distribution drive revenueand improvethe business individual willfacilitatechannel developmentassortment and pricing decisions and be thekey strategicliaisonforourCanadianfield salesteam.

This individualwill work with Marketing Sales Finance and Product Development todevelop the best assortmentpricingand promotional strategy forSharkNinjato be the market share leader inallcategories.

Responsibilities:

OurStrategic SalesManagerwill drive impact by:

• Facilitatingtheshelfassortment strategy by category and retailer to maximizerevenue profitability andYoYgrowth.

• Engage inlong range placement strategies with Marketing and Product Development that deliver our category level margin targets.

• Collaborate with key accounts and analyticleads to develop promotionalstrategiesincluding understanding andvalidatingsales liftscoordinating necessary asset supportunderstandingprofitabilityimpactsalong with confirming actions into the forecast.

• Be bold in elimination of dead trade spend andidentifyactivations that will drive industry leading ROI for each brand.

• Developdistribution strategies that allow our brands to win where the consumer shops in an everchanging retail environment including expanding into new channels.

• See the smoke before the fire on product and retail performance and lead the charge toidentifyactions to improvehighrate of sale.

• Support saleswithfrequentin marketvisits andcustomerfacingmeetingstoprovide strategic value toShark Ninjas partnersand field sales team includingproduct categoryknowledgeand go-to-market strategy.

• Develop and pressure testmid- and long-termroadmap with marketing teams to provide winning assortment todiverse and ever-changing channels

• Communicateto management onplacementprogress onregularbasis.

• Liaison between Sales and Finance on assortment portfolios that drive marginenhancement YoYby subcategory and gatekeeper of pricing.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.

• 5 years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment.

• Background inretail sales analysisand promotional strategypreferred.

• CPG experience preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment with quick pivots.

• Ability to present andcalibrate oncritical challenges with senior leaders.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
