Job Summary
Our publicly held financial services client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their organization and be heavily involved with financial analysis & reporting preparing metrics and dashboards and performing various trend analysis for all aspects of the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Work with various departments to develop necessary financial and operational reporting
- Review and help produce monthly Executive and Board Reports
- Maintain financial database by identifying sources of information and verifying and analyzing data
- Prepare financial reports by collecting formatting analyzing and explaining data and information
- Develop and/or enhances current financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting modeling and variance analysis
- Perform other job functions as required
The qualified Senior Financial Analyst must possess a Bachelors degree in Finance or related business field. The Senior Financial Analyst should have approximately 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate finance setting preferably with financial services industry knowledge/background. The Senior Financial Analyst candidate should have functional knowledge of reporting and/or BI tools such as PowerBI Tableau or SQL. The candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This role does not require any travel.
