Position Overview
You will provide EEG services at a major VA Medical Center. You will support neurology and epilepsy teams and perform a full range of neurodiagnostic procedures in a hospital setting.
What You Will Do
Perform routine and complex EEG studies
Conduct long-term monitoring (LTM/CCTV)
Work with inpatient outpatient ICU and OR cases
Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly
Operate and maintain EEG equipment
Document findings in VA systems (CPRS/VistA)
Coordinate with neurologists and care teams
Schedule
Monday to Friday
or
Occasional overtime with approval
Requirements
Minimum 2 years EEG experience
Hospital experience required
ABRET or AAET certification preferred
BLS certification required
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work independently
VA Credentialing Requirements
Background check and fingerprinting
VetPro credentialing (allow 60 days)
Proof of immunizations and TB test
Completion of VA training (HIPAA security)
