Avanti Engineering is looking for a hands on CNC leader well versed with CNC Swiss machines .

Main Responsibility:

Hands on position who will support operators with troubleshooting and training. Capable of doing basic programming set up hot jobs when needed. Assist the CNC Supervisor on the day to day operations. Suggest improvements.

CNC Swiss Machines CNC Lead Responsibilities:

- Assist the CNC supervisor on daily operations

- Assist on the assigned jobs and machines of team members

- Responsible of meeting the quality standards according to the customers blueprint

- Troubleshoot and leads direct reports

- Perform simple repairs to equipment as needed

- Responsible for the training and development of team members assigned including shadowing and coaching

- Assist on monitoring levels of production output per machine scraps and rejects

- Do set ups installs tooling necessary for parts production and guides on the operation of the CNC equipment

- Do basic programming

- Follows and enforces the employee handbook policies

- Maintains a safe environment and good housekeeping at his immediate area of responsibility.

Schedule : 6:00 am - 4:30 pm OR 7:00 am 5:30 pm M F

Overtime available

a

- Solid knowledge of metal manufacturing industry

- At least 5 years hands on experience working in manufacturing environment as lead person or equivalent

- Knowledge of basic programming ( write a program) do setups and must have experience with CNC Swiss machines.

- Problem solving/ troubleshooting

- Attention to detail

- Organizational and time management skills

- Understand inspection per customer and quality requirements

- Good communication skills

- Able to display strong leadership skills

- Microsoft office software skills

- Bilingual ( English/ Spanish ) preferred

- Available to work overtime
