Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is one of the largest and most advanced behavioral healthcare organizations in the country. Devereux California is a therapeutic behavioral health treatment facility offering residential community living vocational and clinical services for adults with special needs. Located in Goleta CA this position is responsible for performing administrative functions to support center People Operations (HR) and Learning department activities while ensuring that functions are performed with efficiency confidentiality and responsiveness.

As a People Operations Assistant you will provide assistance to the People Operations (HR) department to include the following:

• New employee onboarding
• Benefit administration
• Workers compensation
• Training
• Data entry and employee file management

Truly an organizations employee workforce requires the same strategic approach and vision as its other core business functions. So whereas HR functions are more narrowed in scope People Operations is more strategic and data-driven placing purposeful focus on people and culture and working to build a sense of community among colleagues. At Devereux our goal is to serve as a valued and trusted strategic partner helping centers/departments make the best possible people-based decisions that will benefit employees the individuals we serve and the overall organization.

Full-time position. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm in Goleta CA.

Compensation is $20.50-$22.50/hr DOE

• HS Diploma or GED Required.
• Valid CDL and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass thorough background checks & Livescan.
• Two years of college preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word & Powerpoint) applications and email.
• Experience in HRIS preferred.
