Residential Coordinator (IDD Services Human Services Leadership Role)

We are hiring a Residential Coordinator to lead and support residential teams serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This is a hands-on leadership role focused on empowering individuals to live meaningful independent lives while ensuring high-quality person-centered care.

Pay & Schedule
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Flexibility required including on-call responsibilities
Salary: $64480 $68640 per year
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development
Supervise coach and support residential staff
Create a positive team-oriented work environment
Train and mentor new employees
Contribute to performance evaluations and staff development
Program & Team Oversight
Manage day-to-day operations of the residential program
Coordinate hiring onboarding and staff training
Lead team meetings and ensure clear communication across staff
Ensure staff understand and meet the needs of individuals served
Operations & Compliance
Monitor documentation (incident reports care plans timesheets)
Ensure compliance with agency policies and RI state regulations
Support household budgeting and maintain quality standards
Build strong relationships with individuals families and team members
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
35 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or human services
3 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional
Knowledge of IDD services and Rhode Island regulatory requirements
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (experience with EMAR Sandata or similar systems is a plus)
