We are currently seeking a full timeQualified Medication Aide/Certified Nurses Aideto join our team atRockville Correctional Facilitylocated inRockville Indiana.
Full Time Day Shift
Pay Rate is between $18-25/hour depending onexperience benefits
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)/ Certified Nurses Aide(CNA) (Indiana) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration. The QMA takes vital signs assists in examinations and treatments and assists patients with activities of daily living while monitoring patients.t
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Graduation from a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) training program required
QMA certification required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
One (1) year of experience in acute care long-term care emergency or correctional setting preferred
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
