In this role you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has a knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator.
Position Type: Full-Time
Preferred Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:30pm
Wage Range: $30.82 to $36.24 / hour depending on experience.
Location: 1438 County Road C East Maplewood MN 55109
LPN Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) responsibilities:
- Enter physicians orders with high degree of accuracy.
- Schedulemedical appointments and transportation.
- Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
- Provide ongoing customer service to residents family members and facility visitors.
- Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
- 2 years experience as a healthunit coordinator or health information certification desired.
- LPN License required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not needed.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
- Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced multi-taskenvironment.
- PointClickCare experience preferred.
