Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

Thefundamental reason this classification exists is to supervise and manageseveral functions within the Citys Finance Department. Responsibilitiesinclude managing the Citys financial activity in enterprise funds managingthe Citys cash management efforts managing the Citys accounts receivablecoordinating the Citys property management efforts supervising employees andproviding administrative support to the Finance Director and Deputy is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officerand the Deputy Director in accordance with departmental policies and withconsiderable latitude for independent judgment.
