Job Summary

Job Overview

The Corporate Engagement Manager is responsible for cultivating strengthening and strategically managing relationships with corporate partners to advance ASMs mission and increase financial support for ASM. This role develops and manages corporate partnerships and revenue-generating collaborations in support of ASMs key programs and events monitors industry trends and serves as a liaison between ASM and corporate partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder with strong strategic analytical and communication skills.

Essential Functions (defines the critical end results expected of the jobholder related to the accountabilities above)
  1. Identify cultivate and steward corporate partners whose operational and/or funding strategies align with ASMs mission and/or programs.
  2. Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective partners and conduct outreach about sponsorship and/or long-term engagement opportunities.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners ensuring strong relationships and consistent
  4. Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Publishing Meetings Scientific Units ) to ensure unified engagement with corporate partners and to promote current offerings and inform the development of new ones.
  5. Align corporate partnerships with ASMs strategic priorities programs and growth
  6. Collaborate with other departments to integrate industry insights into organizational planning and
  7. Develop and manage corporate partnership programs that offer unique benefits to
  8. Plan and support industry-focused events including partner engagement and on-site
  9. Analyze partnership performance and industry trends to inform strategy and leadership

  • Domain Knowledge Demonstrates professional/technical knowledge skills and expertise within functional Stays current on best practices and the ability to apply that knowledge and/or skill in a variety of work situations.
  • Enterprise Processes and Technologies Understands and effectively uses standard office equipment such as personal computers/laptops and office automation software. Uses new specialized or organization-specific equipment technologies software databases and systems as required in accordance with the organizations policies. Up to date on social media and use it appropriately on behalf of ASM.

Physical Demands

This role is primarily sedentary and involves prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of computers and other digital devices. Employees may be required to engage in repetitive motions such as typing and mouse use. Occasional movement may be necessary to access office supplies or equipment within a home or remote workspace. This requires a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup including standard equipment such as a computer monitor keyboard mouse and headset. Ergonomic considerations are encouraged to promote comfort and reduce physical strain during extended work hours.
