Job Description/Responsibilities

As a Benefits Analyst Leave & Time Off you will play a key role in the administration and support of the organizations leave and time-off programs. You will ensure full compliance with federal state and local leave regulations while guiding employees and managers through processes related to short-term disability family and medical leave paid time off and other benefits. You will act as a central liaison among employees third-party administrators HR business partners and payroll teams to ensure a smooth and positive leave experience.

What Youll Do:

  • Administer and ensure compliance with all U.S. and international leave and time-off programs (e.g. FMLA disability PTO) including accurate benefits data transmission payroll deductions and employee status monitoring.
  • Act as a key resource for employees and stakeholders providing expert guidance on complex leave cases disability claims benefit plan options and vendor-related issues while delivering world-class customer service.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and benefits providers overseeing service agreements driving program improvements and supporting external audits including non-discrimination testing and leave audits.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable laws and policies (e.g. ERISA HIPAA IRC SECURE 2.0 state leave laws) staying current with legislative changes and managing state/local regulatory filings.
  • Develop and maintain internal benefit policies and documentation including standard operating procedures training resources and knowledge content to support process consistency and HR Shared Services enablement.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required:

  • Associates degree in human resources business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience with multi-state leave administration US leave and disability programs
  • Experience with FMLA ADA ERISA and applicable state leave laws
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements while maintaining discretion and confidentiality

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree along with professional certification such as CEBS PHR or CPDM (certified professional disability manager).
  • Experience supporting leave program design or vendor transitions.
  • Experience working with third-party leave administrators or insurance carrier

The annual salary range for this role is $72000 - $108000. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience qualifications geographic location and internal pay equity considerations.
