Shift Pattern: PM with the flexibility to work AM including weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $60000 - $70000 annually
The ideal Executive Sous Chef candidate is an experienced culinary leader with 35 years of sous chef or equivalent experience in a fastcasual highvolume kitchen. This is a handson position requiring someone who thrives working the line alongside the cook staff while effectively managing and motivating a diverse culinary team. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility creativity strong communication skills and a positive attitude in all situations.
This role supports all culinary outlets across the property including InRoom Dining the Animas River Beer Garden Animas River Grille Animas River Lounge and banquets ensuring consistency quality and an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative environment embraces problemsolving and brings passion professionalism and reliability to every shift.
What will I be doing
As Executive Sous Chef you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of the planning preparation production and control of all culinary operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lead and support daily kitchen operations across all culinary outlets including River Grille River Lounge Animas River Beer Garden Banquets and InRoom Dining.
Work handson in the kitchen including regular line cooking alongside the culinary team.
Supervise train motivate and mentor cooks and culinary staff to maintain a positive collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Create manage and adjust staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all outlets while supporting labor cost goals.
Assist in menu development recipe creation and seasonal specials that showcase creativity and enhance guest experiences.
Oversee food prep production and execution during peak service periods to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintain high standards of food safety sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health department regulations and brand standards.
Support inventory control including ordering receiving rotation waste reduction and cost management.
