As Multimedia Archivist Intern you will play a key role in transforming this content into a cohesive accessible and future-ready media archive. Your work will enable teams across the organization to efficiently access repurpose and share video assets in support of programs campaigns and advocacy.
In addition youll contribute to the creation of a new sizzle reel that showcases the organizations mission impact and the power of youth leadership helping elevate storytelling and external engagement.
What youll do:
Video Asset Organization & Archiving
- Audit and organize existing video files across multiple sources
- Develop a structured and sustainable digital asset management (DAM) system
- Tag and categorize footage by theme event and program
- Create documentation and recommendations for long-term content management
Content Creation & Sizzle Reel Support
- Collaborate on scripting and editing a new organizational sizzle reel
- Prepare and optimize video files (compression formatting clipping accessibility)
- Support editing of short-form highlight and promotional videos
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the MarCom team including Video Production Marketing and Communications leads
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling
- Support retrieval and repurposing of archived content for internal requests
General Responsibilities
- Participate in team meetings and skill-building sessions
- Maintain ethical standards when working with youth-centred and mental health-related content
What you bring:
Required Qualifications
- Eligible for the Canada Summer Jobs program (ages 1530 and legally able to work in Canada)
- Experience with digital asset management or content organization systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of media files
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Assets
- Familiarity with metadata tagging and version control systems
- Experience creating short-form videos or highlight reels
- Background in storytelling for social impact or nonprofit organizations
- Experience working with youth-centred or mental health-related content

- Duration: 9 weeks (full-time)
- Location: Remote (Canada-wide) with optional in-person collaboration in Toronto
- Work Hours: Flexible with core collaboration between 10 AM 4 PM ET
