Our client a global manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team of approximately 40 employees just north of Hartford Connecticut. As the sole HR team member for the US division you will have full ownership of the HR function providing autonomy and significant potential for career growth into an HR Manager role. You will be instrumental in shaping a cohesive collaborative workplace culture driving employee engagement and ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives. Senior Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities

Support core HR functions
Develop and implement employee training programs
Lead engagement initiatives and team development
Oversee compensation strategies and benefits programs
Manage employee relations
Shape and uphold a culture of cohesion and inclusivity
Maintain HR systems and records
Drive employee engagement and retention strategies
Lead the full cycle recruiting process for all new employees

Senior Human Resources Generalist Qualifications

Bachelors degree required
4 years of human resources experience required
Experience driving training/employee development programs required
Expertise in employment law HR best practices and workforce development required
Human resources information system (HRIS) experience required
Must be willing to work onsite
