TITLE: District Office Manager DEPARTMENT AFFILIATION: District Administration EVALUATOR: Superintendent RESPONSIBLE TO: Superintendent WORK YEAR: 12 Months/Year PAY: $31.70-$36.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Superintendent the District Office Manager serves as the primary administrative support professional for the Superintendent and the District Office. This position is responsible for theefficient day-to-day operations of the districtoffice providing a welcoming and professional environment for staff families and the public. The District Office Manager acts as Secretary to the Superintendent and plays a key role in communications records management facilities coordination and district-wide support functions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative & Superintendent Support - Serves as Secretary to the Superintendent keeping BOE meeting minutes managing calendars drafting correspondence processing policy updates and handling a broad range of daily administrative tasks. Reception & Visitor Services Serves as the primary point of contact for incoming calls and office visitors ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all guests. Human Resources & Personnel Support Supports recruitment onboarding and recordkeeping functions including posting positions orienting new hires managing substitute and volunteer paperwork and maintaining personnel files. Student Records & Registration Manages student cumulative records processes transcripts requests and coordinates beginning of year registration including free/reduced meal applications. District-Wide Communications Coordinates district communications to staff families and the public and manages the districts social media presences in alignment with district-approved messaging standards. General District Support Provides flexible coverage and support across district operations school sites and special programs as needed including transportation radio support and staff/BOE recognition coordination.
Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible office management or administrative support experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to compose professional correspondence independently. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain required fingerprint clearance. Must obtain and maintain a Notary Public commission. PREFERRED: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Experience working in a school district or government office environment. Familiarity with CASB policy processes CDE nutrition programs or Colorado school records requirements. Experience managing social media accounts or district/organizational communications platforms. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
