Job Summary
As the Manager Accounting (IPA) you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations of the company reporting to the Director - Accounting. You will ensure accurate financial reporting compliance with accounting standards and conduct insightful financial analysis. Working closely with the Director - Accounting and cross-functional teams you will contribute to the financial planning process help maintain a robust financial control environment and contribute to the assessment and implementation of new financial systems and processes. You have a growth mindset and always look for ways to improve existing processes.

What Youll Do
- Direct management and development of a team of accountants.
- Review IPA/RKK related journal entries: capitation claims risk pools AR/AP and accrual related entries.
- Review maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis; prepare monthly balance sheet analyses for multiple assigned entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close.
- Work closely with the reporting team to provide accurate and timely information for SEC filing and to the external auditors
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Manage internal and external ad-hoc requests
- Work with external auditors to provide support as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA required
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Solid understanding of GAAP as well as industry-specific accounting practices related to healthcare.
- Proficiency with accounting software preferably Sage and advanced MS Office Suite skills.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue Alhambra CA 91801
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $130000 - $145000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future) experience and other job-related factors.
