This leading civil engineering company specialises in the design and development of land development and civil infrastructure projects across South East Queensland. Led by a team of highly experienced professionals with long-standing clients and a reputation for delivering the highest-quality services.

With continued success for the business and growth plans for the construction division we are looking for an experienced (delivery) Civil Project Engineer looking to step into an inspecting / client representative role. Joining a high performing team you will supervise and oversee all construction activities ensuring the highest of quality standards are met and successful outcomes are achieved across all stages of the project. Across long-term projects based on either North or South of Brisbane local to either the clients office or delivering teams office you will have full autonomy can manage your own time interact and fulfill your clients needs and expectations.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Monitor daily programs and construction activities
• Provide strategic commercial and delivery expertise to contractors where required
• Collaborate and contribute to high-performing team
• Quality Assurance Management in line with DTMR council client standards
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients contractors and stakeholders
• Tracking and updating project program against contract baseline
• Preparing reports on construction and progress
• Contract Administration review of contractors progress claims variations and RFIs
• Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met

The successful individual must have a minimum of 8 years delivering local urban/land development TMR Council or other relevant civil infrastructure projects. Knowledge of delivery to specifications design budget program and while adhering to the clients quality standards is required. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline required. Strong commination interpersonal skills while working effectively in a team environment across a number of projects.
