We are currently seeking a Roads Drafter to join our Transport team in WA supporting the delivery of major road highway and transport infrastructure projects including MRWA works.

In this role you will play a key part in producing high-quality design documentation and supporting engineers across all project phasesfrom concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed road and highway design drawings including alignments long sections cross sections drainage layouts and pavement details in accordance with MRWA standards and Austroads guidelines
• Producing and managing 2D and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD OpenRoads Designer and Civil 3D
• Assisting in the development of design documentation packages for tender and construction ensuring accuracy consistency and compliance with project requirements
• Coordinating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams (drainage structures traffic utilities) to integrate design elements across large infrastructure projects
• Supporting design reviews model audits and drawing checks to maintain high-quality deliverables
• Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project delivery timelines

What can you bring to the team

• Demonstrated experience as a Civil/Roads Drafter working on WA road or highway projects ideally with exposure to MRWA standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D highly regarded
• Strong understanding of road geometry drainage and earthworks modelling
• Experience producing detailed design and construction drawings within infrastructure projects
• A TAFE qualification or equivalent in Civil Engineering Design or similar
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
