Bookkeeper (AU Experience Xero & GST)
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Compensation: $1450 $1900 USD per month (depending on experience and client discretion)

Schedule: Full-time aligned to Australian business hours (AWST)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong exposure to Australian accounting practices to support a growing allied health business. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring timely reconciliation and reporting across multiple systems. Australian healthcare and NDIS knowledge is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations using bank feeds
- Manage Accounts Payable including maintaining creditor schedules on a fortnightly basis
- Manage Accounts Receivable including tracking and following up on outstanding debtor payments
- Process daily invoicing of income activity through PracSuite
- Reconcile income against invoices within PracSuite on a daily basis
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding debtor balances on a weekly basis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero
- Support internal team communication to ensure smooth financial operations
- Creditors management fortnightly
Required Experience & Skills
Hard Skills
- 58 years of bookkeeping experience ideally supporting Australian businesses
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Familiarity with Australian GST and basic tax compliance requirements
- Experience managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Experience with PracSuite (or similar accounts receivable tools) preferred
Soft Skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage recurring financial tasks
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies
