Job Summary

Job Purpose

  • Execute a high performance Finance Business Partnering and add value to the business in the region and for the supported CEE countries
  • Assure compliance and legal financial requirements in local Finance areas

Duties and Responsibilities

Finance Business Partnering (60%)

  • Support and challenge key stakeholders of the country organizations (SK CZ PL RO Balkans) to achieve the financial objectives
  • Influence decision making processes within the local management teams to create added value
  • Support and influence the strategic planning processes
  • Challenge the value and cost drivers to influence growth efficiency and profitability
  • Understand the demands of the key stakeholders and deliver optimal service based on a strong understanding of the different business models
  • Monitor financial performance
  • Contribute to reach budget targets in sales and EBIT margin
  • Develop business cases in close cooperation with the Commercial area support with the right tools and follow-up on the cases
  • Personnel costs controlling
  • Monitor Supply Integrity for relevant countries
  • Project work

Management Reporting Planning and Analysis (30%)

  • Drive and steer Budget Planning and Forecasting processes
  • Monthly Quarterly and Annual Reporting including analysis and comments
  • Proactive ad-hoc analysis
  • Ensure control of local and individual department budgets
  • Ensure appropriate reporting to regional and headquarter functions

Local finance activities and other tasks (10%)

  • Assure compliance in cooperation with the Accounting Manager CEE the European Accounting Center and Global Finance Departments (Annual report audit tax transfer pricing legal code of conduct special local needs)
  • Assure year-end closing in IFRS and local GAAP
  • Support in analysing and optimizing the business processes of the affiliate

Qualifications

Education (certificates courses):

  • Master level/university degree in Finance or Business Administration

Experience:

  • At least 5 years in Finance with 2 years as Finance Business Partner/ Business Controller
  • Job experience in an international setting ideally in pharmaceutical industry
