Senior System Analyst (Technical Lead)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead control and coordinate development team activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Manage development resources including task allocation and workload balancing aligned with project priorities
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve delays risks and bottlenecks
• Design system architecture and define technical solutions that meet business and scalability requirements
• Perform hands-on coding and conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards and best practices
• Establish and enforce development processes governance and technical standards to improve team efficiency
• Manage and optimise database structures and queries including SQL and MongoDB
• Ensure system integration across platforms using APIs and web services
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices including secure coding and vulnerability mitigation
• Plan execute and support system performance testing tuning and optimisation
• Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete requirement understanding

Primary Skill Set

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in system analysis and software development
• Proven experience in leading or controlling development teams and improving delivery outcomes
• Strong hands-on coding experience (e.g. Python or similar technologies)
• Solid expertise in system design architecture and scalable solution development
• Strong experience in database management including SQL and MongoDB
• Experience in managing development resources and delivering projects on schedule
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in system integration (APIs web services)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing underperforming development teams or recovering delayed projects
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices (e.g. OWASP secure coding vulnerability assessment)
• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
