Building Maintenance / Handyman
Ensure a Safe Operable and Welcoming Environment
Location: Grande Prairie AB
Salary: Competitive ($30-35/hour) with excellent benefits
Schedule: Monday to Friday (days); limited call
As the Maintenance Manager/ Handyman youll be a crucial part of the team responsible for overseeing the seamless operations of our buildings and grounds.
Reporting to the Site Leader as the Maintenance Manager/ Handyman youll be the go-to expert implementing and maintaining a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to keep this seniors living care home in top condition for our residents guests and staff.
Maintenance Manager/ Handyman Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all building systems including electrical mechanical and grounds ensuring safety and functionality
- Manage work orders preventative maintenance and asset history using our Maintenance Care software
- Prioritize and execute repairs obtaining quotes from local trades suppliers and contractors
- Collaborate effectively with all vendors and contractors to deliver high-quality service
- Provide winter maintenance keeping sidewalks patios and exits clear of ice and snow
- Support our fire safety program and quality assurance initiatives
