Note: To be considered you must have 3 years of substantive patent prosecution experience in biomedical engineering a strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field and admission to the USPTO.

Job Description
Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications in biomedical and mechanical technology areas
Prepare office action responses and handle examiner interviews
Advise clients on patentability prosecution strategy and portfolio development
Manage patent portfolios deadlines and related communications with precision
Work directly with clients inventors and foreign associates
Contribute to a collaborative practice while handling substantive work with a high degree of ownership
Qualifications
3 years of substantive patent prosecution experience in biomedical engineering
Strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering Biomedical Engineering or similar
USPTO admission required
JD from an accredited law school
Admission to at least one U.S. state bar
Experience drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
