Job Summary
Biologist needs 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience (academic or industry) with ELISAs and automated liquid handlers
Biologist requires:
- Cell culture
- Aseptic technique
- dPCR qPCR and RNA-Seq analysis
- pharmaceutical biotech or regulated GxP laboratory environment
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g. GraphPad Prism)
- Bachelors degree in Biology Biochemistry Molecular Biology Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with immunoassay techniques molecular biology workflows and laboratory automation platforms
Biologist duties:
- Design execute and troubleshoot ELISA-based assays for target quantification
- Assist with adaptation of manual ELISA workflows to automated liquid handling systems (e.g. Hamilton STAR/Nimbus Beckman Biomek or equivalent) to support high-throughput assays
- Analyze samples using dPCR qPCR and RNA-Seq pending project direction
- Prepare reagents buffers and standards following established protocols and SOPs
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) records in compliance with data integrity standards
