Job Description

• Manage family law matters from intake through resolution
• Handle divorce custody placement child support maintenance paternity and restraining order matters
• Advise clients on legal strategy risk likely outcomes and cost considerations
• Draft pleadings motions discovery settlement documents and related family law filings
• Appear in court for hearings conferences and other proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and help clients resolve disputes efficiently where possible
• Advocate effectively in contested matters when litigation is necessary
• Maintain strong communication with clients and provide a high-touch service experience
• Work collaboratively with leadership and the broader team to support excellent client outcomes
• Meet a minimum billable expectation of 120 hours per month

Qualifications

• 3 years of family law attorney experience
• Strong experience handling divorce custody child support and related domestic matters
• Ability to manage cases with a high level of independence
• Strong drafting advocacy and client communication skills
• Courtroom and litigation experience preferred
• Wisconsin bar admission strongly preferred
• Mediation experience is a plus
• Professional empathetic and client-service-oriented approach
