Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Energetics Engineer to support the development and qualification of advanced propulsion system components for aerospace applications. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in pyrotechnic and energetic systems including gas generators initiators and igniters. The position involves working in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment focused on delivering cutting-edge technologies for both defense and commercial aerospace sectors. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle ensuring safety compliance and high performance of all components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and define requirements and technical specifications for energetic components
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations safety standards and industry requirements
  • Design analyze and support manufacturing processes for propellants and related systems
  • Plan execute and evaluate development and qualification testing
  • Prepare detailed test plans documentation and technical reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering Science or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and qualifying energetic or pyrotechnic components
  • Strong knowledge of verification and validation processes
  • Familiarity with explosive and ammunition certification standards
  • Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Additional Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
