The Assistant Branch Manager plays a key role in supporting branch performance by ensuring operational excellence regulatory compliance and a superior customer experience. This position partners with the Branch Manager to drive business results lead team development and maintain efficient day-to-day operations within a structured financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily branch operations to ensure accuracy efficiency and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Assist in achieving branch performance goals including loan origination revenue targets and customer satisfaction metrics
Supervise coach and develop team members to drive engagement and productivity
Evaluate and approve loan applications in accordance with company guidelines and risk standards
Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and sound judgment
Maintain oversight of cash handling procedures audits and reporting to ensure financial integrity
Partner with leadership to implement operational improvements and best practices
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services retail banking or a related field
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
Proven ability to perform in a goal-oriented performance-driven environment
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consumer lending or installment loan products
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
Knowledge of financial services compliance and regulatory standards
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $42000 $55000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Performance Incentives: Monthly bonus opportunities based on branch performance and individual contributions (potential additional $6000 $12000 annually)
