Location: This is a full-time on-site opportunity based in one of our North Carolina offices: Charlotte Concord Boone or Asheville.

Note: Must be licensed in North Carolina and have at least 1 year of family law experience plus courtroom litigation experience.

Job Description

• Manage family law matters from intake through resolution
• Represent clients in court hearings motions and other litigation proceedings
• Draft pleadings motions agreements and other legal documents
• Advise clients on divorce custody child support alimony property division and related issues
• Negotiate settlements and help clients reach practical resolutions when appropriate
• Maintain strong client communication and deliver a high level of service
• Work closely with internal staff to move cases forward efficiently
• Handle a caseload with increasing autonomy based on experience

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina law license
• 1 year of family law experience
• Litigation and courtroom experience
• Strong drafting advocacy and case management skills
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients during high-stakes and emotional matters
• Organized responsive and comfortable working in a fast-paced in-office setting
